When it comes to sporting equipment and sporting gear I can be very picky. Comfort, flexibility and durability matter when I am picking my shirts and other sports gear. The fashion and looks also matter. Enter the Lights Out Brand from former Maryland Terrapins and NFL All-Pro Shawne Merriman. The Lights Out Brand named after Merriman’s famous nickname Lights Out is the coolest sporting apparel line I have come across.
The brand has the fashion and a great selection of sporting equipment. I field tested the shirts while playing sports and they felt great. The shirts are light weight and flexible which max them great for playing sports in.
When Merriman was playing in the NFL the Lights Out nickname became famous because of his reputation of sacking NFL quarterbacks. Merriman was the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2005 and had ten sacks that season. Merriman led the NFL in sacks in 2006 when he had 17 sacks. In Merriman’s seven year career he had 45.5 sacks and eight forced fumbles.
